About the Event
The art of blending is to create a synthesis that is greater than the simple sum of the parts of which it is made. How good a blender might you be? To find out, why not take the opportunity to blend your own dry red, assisted by vineyard manager and winemaker Dr Dennis Hart, from a selection of five Dog Trap Vineyard Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon wines drawn from the 2009 to 2013 vintages – and take away a dozen custom labelled bottles of your final blend (included in the price)! Additionally, once you have settled on your blend you will get to participate in the actual blending, bottling, screw capping, labelling and packing of your finished wine.
Bookings are for 2.5 hours each and are for groups of up to four people (maximum). Available daily time slots are:
10.30am – 1.00pm
11.45am – 2.15pm
1.00pm – 3.30pm
2.15pm – 4.45pm
Price: $275 per booking (must be pre-paid and includes one dozen custom labelled bottles of your chosen blend)
