Creative Juices Contentious Character: Juice by Somebody’s Aunt

About the Event

Get your juices flowing with an exciting long weekend of creative arts, with beautiful local food & wines – featuring performances from Australian Dance Party, Somebody’s Aunt, Dianna Nixon, a kids workshop from Kulture Break, and a Sparkling Perfect long table lunch with The Street Theatre.
Created by Canberra ensemble Somebody’s Aunt with musicians Nitya Bernard Parker and Andrew Purdam, JUICE is a dance performance inspired by the land, the grapevines and the transformative alchemy that brings wine into our lives!
Filled with joy, pleasure and humour, the performance celebrates wine and the cycle of life.
Led by Artistic director Jane Ingall, Somebody’s Aunt is an audacious ensemble of older women who have created their own mix of dance, theatre, voice, music and humour in engaging their audiences.
Dancers: Anne Embry, Jane Ingall, Julie Rickwood, Nicola Pilkington, Prue Gleeson, Sue Andrews, Suzannah Salojarvi
Musicians: Nitya Bernard Parker, Andrew Purdam, Andrew Stuart
