About the Event
Wines from two of Canberra’s best producers, food by one of Canberra’s best chefs and in the beautiful location of The Boat House, join us for one of Fireside’s most delicious, wonderful and warming evenings.
Start with canapes by The Boat House’s fireplace then onto a five course degustation featuring both Alex McKay and Frank Van de Loo’s wines side by side. Both McKay and Van de Loo are known for quality across their range of wines, and both have received major accolades for their Shiraz in particular over the years.
The dinner will include a range of both white and red wines while showcasing Shiraz including blends, current releases and the best part of the night will be tasting a back vintage of Shiraz from both wineries.
McKay and Van de Loo are digging into their cellars for one night only and will be on hand to talk about the wines.
