Dionysus Winery is one of the smallest producers of wines in Murrumbateman, and certainly punches above its weight. With a large range of wines made on site, using estate grown fruit, there is a wine to suit everyone. The winery is also home for Woo Chocolates and is a unique destination where you can find small batch, handcrafted chocolates and wines. Our winemaker, Michael has a passion for making small batch, handcrafted wines and our chocolatier, Wendy, is passionate about exploring texture, colour and flavour with chocolate. With both businesses side by side, it’s the perfect place to indulge in a delicious treat and sip some of the finest wines.

As well as enjoying a tasting of the wines and chocolates, visitors can relax with a glass of wine, box of chocolates, a cheese plate or build your own lunch platter from the well-stocked picnic fridge. Dionysus Winery offers a range of experiences to ensure you have a fun and enjoyable visit.

There are several spaces to enjoy your experience at Dionysus Winery – a guided taste of the wines in the cosy cellar, under the lovely covered outdoor area or inside the winery on very hot or cold days. Peace and tranquillity are aplenty in the gorgeous sculpture garden with picnic tables for those wanting to take their time and enjoy a picnic in the tranquil setting. Enjoy a stroll through the garden and enjoy the sculptures, including a larger than life Ned Kelly sculpture!
