Canberra wine appreciation educator Emma Shaw of Pique Nique has produced a short documentary about the Canberra Wine District, focusing on 6 of the leading winemakers in the district. With beautiful production by local filmmaker Sammy Hawker, the documentary is a snapshot of an still-developing district after 50 years. It captures the the interaction between the soils, vines, viticulturists and winemakers, the history told by some of the pioneers of the district, and the vision winemakers have for the next 50 years.
