The Canberra Wine District has a new look, and we want you to be the first to see it.

Help us share our story … of Hearts & Vines.

“of Hearts and Vines” is the compelling story of the Canberra Wine District, unveiled this month to promote our cool climate wine district. Connecting the relationship between the natural wonder of our vineyards and the raw passion of our people.

On Monday 29 November, ACT Chief Minister, Andrew Barr, launched the new Canberra District Wine brand, promoting the Canberra District cool climate wines and our experiences. The new brand celebrates the special relationship between the District’s distinctive wines, the raw passion of our people and the diverse landscape of the region. 50 years heritage; a youthful, vibrant future.

The Chief Minister spoke of the importance of our wine industry and wine tourism to the ACT and Southern NSW, saying how perfect the timing was for the repositioning of the Canberra Wine District, coming out of the COVID lockdown period, as local, interstate and soon, international, borders open.

CM Barr said “People are looking for new, vibrant and varied experiences on their doorstep – and the new brand helps to tell the story of what makes our Canberra wine district so compelling.”

The Chief Minister congratulated the industry on its initiative, saying he and his team look forward to collaborating with the wine community to roll out the brand over the coming months, ensuring the brand is placed as one of the most exciting new brands to come out of Australian Tourism.

CDWIA President, Sarah Collingwood, said “This branding captures the intimate, raw and personal character of our businesses. It provides a common look and feel to over sixty small, regional businesses and allows us to move together with a common set of goals and vision for the region.”

The Canberra Wine District destinations, on the doorstep of the National Capital, offer visitors something different and deeply personal each and every time they visit.
