NSW lockdown restrictions have eased, and the Canberra Wine District is opening up

We’re all pretty excited to be coming out of lockdown and easing our way in to the new “normal” that will be our life for the next couple of months. Canberra District Wine is ready for it. Are you?

While our ACT patrons will need to wait just a few more weeks until they can join us for a wine tasting, our NSW counterparts are more than welcome if they follow a few simple rules set out by NSW Health

From Monday 11th October until the 1st December Fully Vaccinated rules for hospitality are:

If you are fully vaccinated you can visit a hospitality venue. You must:

  • carry vaccination evidence with you and produce it for inspection to a police officer or authorised officer if requested
  • check in with the Service NSW app or provide your contact details to the occupier
  • follow the face mask rules.

From Monday 11th October until the 1st December Not fully Vaccinated rules for hospitality are:

If you are not fully vaccinated you cannot visit a hospitality venue except for take away.

Please be patient with the staff when you visit, they’re learning the ropes as they go, just like you.

So who’s open this week? We’ve got a list of venues opening up in the next week or so, but please make sure you contact your venue of choice and make a booking as most places will not be taking walk ins due to the limited capacity of patrons at this stage.
