Vince is that rare genre-defying artist who creates music without borders. Jones is a remarkable interpreter and composer of songs in a contemporary unique style. Confident in his own musical style, he sings like there’s nothing to prove! With His distinctive warm, rich-like-velvet voice, known for his unique trade-mark style, Jones has remained relevant – prolific as a songwriter – and continues to explore new musical terrains. His stage passion and voice are as fresh and alive as the first day he hit the stage.
With a career now in its 40th year of performing; Jones has a catalogue of 22 albums, ARIA awards and has sold close to a million albums worldwide. He is often invited to mentor the next generation of Jazz musicians at Conservatoriums around Australia.
As a man who thinks deeply about the state of the world and our need to get back to a simpler way of living, themes of love, loss, injustice nature and peace are woven through his original works.
An evening with Vince Jones is a musical indulgence. He performs original material as well as new contemporary interpretations of his favourite jazz standards by other greats, such as Ray Charles, Donny Hathaway and Curtis Mayfield.
His creative output remains intense – new music with long-time collaborator, Paul Grabowki, is due in 2023 while his 2020 retrospective, ‘A Personal Selection’ confirmed how important his contribution to Australian music has been.
Always particular about the musical company he keeps, he’s enjoyed playing with the best musicians the country has to offer.

ABOUT THE VENUE
This event will be held indoors in our event venue. The venue will operate under COVID-safe conditions.
A range of Tallagandra Hill wines, local beers and soft drinks will be available to purchase on the night.
Food will also be available to purchase prior to the event and on the night. An email with a link to the dinner menu will be sent to all attendees approximately four to five days prior to the event. (Note you cannot bring your own food and beverage into the venue.)
Bookings are invited for groups of 4 or more. Car-pooling is encouraged.
Tables will be reserved under the name of the person who made the booking.
This show is part of Tallagandra Hill’s We Love Local Festival, supporting local Australian artists and producers.
Doors open at 5.45pm. Performance from 6.30pm.
